My chosen application for Musk thistle in rangeland is 1 qt per acre Grazeon applied in late April  to mid May. After  using Milestone I have switched to using it as it also does a great job on Candian thistles also. Grazeon does not contain enough Todrdon to have a long effect on Candian Thistles  If some areas have gotten away from you, I strongly urge you to think of well of your neighbors and drag them down so they do not spread to their property and then spray in the fall  with Milestone. 6-7 oz plus surfactant If you mow them, go back within 2 weeks and spray the regrowth. Check with your county extension service for their circular and other recommended chemicals and rates. Always read and follow label requirements.
